Allah says in the Quran: " Everyone shall taste death. The life of this world is only the enjoyment of deception:" (Quran 3:185), " Every soul shall have the taste of death " (Quran 29:57).

75. Eid's Prayer and etiquettes

“Eid” is an Arabic word referring to something habitual that returns and is repeated. Eids or festivals are symbols to be found in every nation, including those that are based on revealed scriptures and those that are idolatrous, as well as others, because celebrating festivals is something that is an instinctive part of human nature. All people like to have special occasions to celebrate, where they can come together and express their joy and happiness.

Never have I witnessed such sincere hospitality and overwhelming spirit of true brotherhood as is practiced by people of all colors and races here in this ancient holy land, the home of Abraham,Muhammad and all the other Prophets of the holy scriptures.
78. Names and Muslim naming system And Arabic names

Old Arabic names are based on a very sophisticated naming system: most Arabs do not simply have first/middle/last names, but a full chain of names. This system is in use throughout Arab world.
79. Rulings of Udhiyah (Sacrifice)

Udhiyah is one of the great rituals of Islam, in which we remember the Unity of Allah, His blessings upon us and the obedience of our father prophet Ibrahim to his Lord, and in this act of udhiyah there is much goodness and blessing. So the Muslim must pay attention to its great importance.

Udhiyah refers to the animal (camel, cattle or sheep) that is sacrificed as an act of worship to Allah, in the country in which the person offering the sacrifice lives, during the period from after the Eid prayer on the 10th of thul-Hijjah until the 13th day of thul-Hijjah, with the intention of offering sacrifice to Allah.

81. The Preservation of the Qur’an and Hadeeth

From its inception during the lifetime of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), Islamic doctrine was documented simultaneously and given priority to the preservation of the scripture. As a result, one of the earliest expressions of religiosity focused on studying, reciting, and writing down the scripture. When Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) died, the preservation of the scripture was also a conscious concern among his companions and successors. Early historical sources refer to immediate efforts undertaken by successors of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) to collect the chapters of the Qur’an, which were written down by His various companions. And this preservation and protection is the promise of God towards His last religion and guidance of people. Allah said in the Quran:

82. The Life Of The Last Prophet

THE BIRTH of the Prophet of Islam, peace and blessings be upon him, and the dawn of his prophet hood was not the birth of a Prophet alone, nor was it the rise of a new nation, nor yet the beginning of a new era. It was the genesis of a new world which was destined to last till the end of time when all shall be returned to their Lord and Master. The influence of Muhammad’s prophet hood is visible in everything that the world now contains the beliefs and the patterns of thought, culture and civilization, the morals and modes of living, the knowledge and learning, in short, all spheres of human Endeavour.
83. The Truth of Shirck (Ploytheism)

What is shirck (polytheism)?

Shirck (Polytheism) is to worship other than Almighty Allah (God), which is a very major mistake to leave the Creator and worship creation.

Belief in the existence of many gods, unfortunately, it has been widespread in human cultures, past and present, and has taken many forms. Natural forces and objects—celestial, atmospheric, and earthly (such as stars, stones, people, rain, mountains, and fire)—have often been identified with divinities.

84. Dreams

Dreams are broken into three parts according to the Hadeeth:

 Ru'yaa - good visions (dreams)

 Hulum - bad dreams

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessing be upon Him) said, "There are three types of dreams: a righteous dream which is glad tidings from Allah, the dream which causes sadness is from Satan (the devil), and a dream from the ramblings of the mind. (Related by Muslim)

87. Love According To Islam

"Where are those who loved each other for the sake of My glory?"

Abu Hurayrah relates that the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) said: Allah will say on the Day of Judgment: 'Where are those who loved each other for the sake of My glory? Today, - on a day when there is no shade but mine I shall shade them with My shade.‌ (Sahih Muslim - 2566)

Love is among the most exalted of human feelings. When this love is focused on Allah and forms the basis for our interpersonal relationships, many problems are transcended, and great fruits are harvested for society as a whole. The Quran and Sunnah often speak about the noble status of those whom Allah graces to possess such love.
88. Why Pork and Blood are Forbidden in Islam

Islam is the religion of safety, it saves people from what ever hurts or makes them ill, Allah is the Creator of all things and He is the All-knowing of every thing, He has created things for reasons, we may know some of them and we may not, but we believe that Allah is the merciful and guardian, He created things and to test us with and distinguish the people who obey His orders or not. The prohibition of the pork was mentioned in the Holy Qur'an's verses in four points.

89. Siwaak --- The Forgotten Sunnah

Firs thing we must keep always in mind that Muslims must be always clean all over their bodies including the mouth which is the entrance to their bodies, Alhamdulillaah, we all understand the importance of oral hygiene. Science in the twentieth century has shown us the link between poor oral hygiene and certain diseases such as stroke, heart disease, pre-term babies, as well as general ill-health of a person.
90. Husband and wife rights and duties

Islam has enjoined upon the husband duties towards his wife, and vice versa, and among these duties are some which are shared by both husband and wife.

We will mention some of the texts of the Qur'aan and Hadeeth which have to do with the duties of the spouses towards one another, quoting also from the commentaries and views of the scholars.

85. Ruling of Photography in Islam

Allah said:'' It is He who forms you in the wombs however He wills. There is no deity except Him, the Exalted in Might, the Wise'' 3:06

According to the above verse, TASWEER means forming , shaping and creation, which is prohibited, but that ruling is not applicable on photography because there is no forming, creation or shaping in photography, how ever it is applicable on painting or shaping bodies with Clay, Cement or Sand and so forth

91. Ruling regarding the 15th of Shaban and other observances

We have some practices that we have become accustomed to and have inherited concerning some special occasions for example, making cakes and biscuits on the day of Eid al-Fitr. We also prepare meat and fruit for the night of the 27th of Rajab and the night of 15th Shaban. Furthermore, there is a specific type of sweet that we must prepare during the day of Ashura. What is the ruling of the Islamic Law concerning these things

Allah the Almighty says:
Remember when his people said to him:
"Do not exult (with riches, being ungrateful to Allah).
Verily Allah likes not those who exult (with riches, being ungrateful to Allah).
93. The Story of the Boy and the King

Imam Ahmad recorded from Suhayb that the Messenger of Allah said:
Among the people who came before you, there was a king who had a sorcerer, and when that sorcerer became old, he said to the king, "I have become old and my time is nearly over, so please send me a boy whom I can teach magic.'' So, he sent him a boy and the sorcerer taught him magic. Whenever the boy went to the sorcerer, he sat with a monk who was on the way and listened to his speech and admired them. So, when he went to the sorcerer, he passed by the monk and sat there with him; and on visiting the sorcerer the latter would thrash him. So, the boy complained about this to the monk. The monk said to him, "Whenever you are afraid of the sorcerer, say to him: `My people kept me busy.' And whenever you are afraid of your people, say to them: `The sorcerer kept me busy.''' So the boy carried on like that (for some time). Then a huge terrible creature appeared on the road and the people were unable to pass by. The boy said, "Today I shall know whether the sorcerer is better or the monk is better.'' So, he took a stone and said, "O Allah! If the deeds and actions of the monk are liked by You better than those of the sorcerer, then kill this creature so that the people can cross (the road).'' Then he struck it with a stone killing it and the people passed by on the road.

All praise is to Allah Alone, and may His peace and blessings be upon His Messenger and slave, our Prophet Muhammad r, his Family and his Companions.
The objective of this concise pamphlet is to explain how Prophet Muhammad r used to perform his Salâh (prayers). I would like to present this explanation to every male and female Muslim so that they may strive to take up the Prophet’s manner in performing their Salâh (prayers) as a model for them. It was narrated by Al-Bukhari that Prophet Muhammad r said: صلوا كما رأيتموني أصلي

66. Life is a Test

Praise be to Allaah, and blessings and peace be upon the Messenger of Allaah, who said:
“Allaah has shared out your attitudes among you just as He has shared out your provisions. Allaah gives worldly provision to those whom He loves and those whom He does not love, but He gives religion only to those whom He loves. So whoever is given religion, Allaah loves him…” (Narrated by Ahmad, 3490; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in al-Silsilah al-Saheehah, 714). Based on this hadeeth, you should praise Allaah a great deal for this blessing which He has bestowed upon you by enabling you to adhere to His religion. Note that trials are the nature of this world which is the world of tests and trials.

(What it means). “There is none has the right to be worshipped but Allah, the One, having no partner with Him, Sovereignty belongs to Him and all the praise is due to Him, and He is Potent over everything, One hundred times every day there is a reward of emancipating ten slaves for him, and there are recorded hundred vices are blotted out from his scroll, and that is a safeguard for him against the Satan on that day till evening and no one brings anything more excellent than this, except one who has done more than this (who utters these words more than one hundred times and does more good acts) and he who utters: Glory be to Allah, and all praise is due to Him”. one hundred times a day, his sins are obliterated even if they are equal to the extent of the foam of the ocean”.
39. Amr-bil-Maroof

Amr-bil-Maroof

It is the most common activity in all social settings. Sometimes it is explicit: we argue for or against something. At others it is implicit: we show interest or lack of interest. More often than we realize we are engaged in persuading others or are being persuaded by them about big and small things in life. It is a very powerful force also. That is why marketers yearn for word of mouth publicity and powerful media machines long for becoming the talk of the town.

41. BEING TRUTHFUL AND LYING

Being truthful means speaking the truth and also saying things that reflect reality. Being truthful is one of the necessities of a human society, one of the virtues of human behaviour, and brings great benefits, whilst lying is one of the major elements of corruption in human society, and the cause of the destruction of social structure and ties, one of the most evil features of bad conduct, and causes widespread harm. Hence Islam commanded truthfulness and forbade lying.

42. WHO IS ALLAAH?

It is a known fact that every language has one or more terms that are used in reference to God and sometimes to lesser deities. This is not the case with the Arabic term Allaah. Allaah is the personal name of the one true God. Nothing else can be called Allaah. The term has no plural or gender. This shows its uniqueness when compared with the word god which can be made plural, gods, or feminine, goddess. It is interesting to note that Allaah is the proper name of God in Aramaic, the language of Jesus and a sister language of Arabic.

Can we find an explanation to this great universe? Is there any convincing interpretation to the secret of existence? We realize that no family can function properly without a responsible head, that no city can prosperously exist without sound administration, and that no state can survive without a leader of some kind. We also realize that nothing comes into being on its own. Moreover, we observe that the universe exists and functions in the most orderly manner, and that it has survived for millions and millions of years. Can we, then, say that all this is accidental? Can we attribute the existence of man and the whole world to mere chance?

And so are the days (good and not so good), that We give to men by turns, that Allah may test those who believe, and that He may take martyrs from among you.
47. ISLAM IS PEACE AND MERCY

Assalamu Alaikum warahmatullahi wa barakatuh, (may the peace, mercy and blessings of Allaah be upon you) is the first statement of Muslims whenever they meet.
The Qur’an is the last divine revelation and the universal message to all mankind. The noble Qur’an has a dominant role in the daily lives of Muslims. Social relations, being an important part of life, have naturally received their due place in the Islamic code of guidance which is based on the noble Qur’an, the Hadith and the prophet Muhammad’s (peace be upon him) illustrious role model. In today’s pluralistic, multi-faith society, these Islamic teachings have assumed greater meaning and relevance.

48. ISLAMIC VIEW OF JESUS

The Islamic view of Jesus lies between two extremes. The Jews, who rejected Jesus as a prophet of God, called him an impostor and the modern day Christians who consider him to be the Son of God and worship him as if he is the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth. Islam considers Jesus to be one of the great prophets of God. Muslims hold Jesus in very high esteem, as well as all of the prophets of God, including Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Muhammad to name a few. This is in conformity with the Islamic view of the oneness of God, the oneness of divine guidance, and the complementary role of the subsequent mission of God’s messengers.

54. Raising Children In An Islamic Way

EVERY child is born on Fitrah (man's innate disposition to Monotheism), his parents make him Jewish, Christian or a fire worshiper." (Al-Bukhari and Muslim ) Allah Almighty has entrusted parents with their children. Parents bear the responsibility to raise up their children in the Islamic way. If they do that they will be blessed in this life and in the Hereafter, and if they don't, they will get bad result during their life and in the Hereafter.

55. RISK OF USURY (RIBA)

Usury (Riba), in law, is a payment of interest, by a borrower to a lender for the use of money, gold or silver in excess of the amount fixed by the lender.
The charging of different prices or installment payments, as compared with sales for cash, does not make a transaction usurious. Service charges incurred in making the loan likewise are not usurious, unless they can be shown to be a disguise for excessive interest.

56. RULING ON LOTTERY AND GAMBLING IN ISLAM

The lottery is a system of gambling which encourages people to spend seemingly small amounts of money either daily or weekly in the hope that they will earn great riches with ease. The logical arguments against this system are obvious. If a person spends $5 each week on the lottery, he will be spending $240.00 each year.

57. SMOKING

When you smoke, you can become addicted to, or not able to function without nicotine. By definition: nicotine is a colorless, poisonous alkaloid, derived from the tobacco plant and used as an insecticide. It is the substance in tobacco in which smokers can become addicted. Nicotine is as habit-forming as the drugs heroin and cocaine. Over time, you may have problems with your teeth and gums; staining on your teeth, fingers, and fingernails; bad breath; and wrinkling skin. There are also other, more serious health problems caused by smoking, such as:

(1) Allah which is His personal name indicating that all projects can only be initiated by the will and wish of Allah.
61. CONCEPT OF WORSHIP IN ISLAM

The concept of worship in Islam is misunderstood by many people including some Muslims. Worship is commonly taken to mean performing ritualistic acts such as prayers, fasting, charity, etc. This limited understanding of worship is only one part of the meaning of worship in Islam. That is why the traditional definition of worship in Islam is a comprehensive definition that includes almost everything in any individual’s activities.

24. Lowering The Eyes

Islam requires its male and female adherents to avoid illicit sexual relations at all costs. Because the desire to have sexual relationships originates with the look that one person gives another, Islam prohibits a person from casting amorous glances towards another. This is the principle of ghadd al-basar (lowering the eyes). Since it is impossible for people to have their eyes fixed constantly to the ground and inconceivable that a man will never see a woman or a woman will never see a man, Islam absolves from blame the first chance look, but prohibits one from casting a second look or continuing to stare at a face which one finds attractive at first sight.

The Shari'ah has placed restrictions on men meeting strange women privately. Similarly no man other than her husband is allowed to touch any part of a woman's body. The following traditions of the Prophet (peace be upon him) are worth noting in this connection:
"Beware that you do not call on women who are alone," said the Messenger of Allah. One of the Companions asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what about the younger or the elder brother of the husband?" The Prophet replied, "He is death."

Very often, a man may receive male visitors and guests in his house. In such a situation the question may arise whether the wife of the host can come forward to serve food and drink to them. If a woman's husband is not present when his guests arrive, she should not serve them. However, if her husband is present and the guests are known friends, relatives and well-wishers, a woman may come forward to serve them with food and drink provided that she is properly dressed and her manners, movements and method of talking are such that they are not likely to encourage evil in them or arouse their passions and thereby become a source of fitnah (mischief).

03. meaning of la ilaha illa Allah

This is a short treatise about the meaning of our testimony when we say “Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah”. We wish to distribute it among the people because there is a dire need for such information to be made available. Many Muslims, not to mention non-Muslims, are ignorant of what this testimony really means. Many Muslims fall into what contradicts or even invalidates this testimony.

In Islam there is absolutely no difference between men and women as far as their relationship to Allah is concerned, as both are promised the same reward for good conduct and the same punishment for evil conduct.
02. THIS IS ISLAM

Just as Islam has five pillars (please recall the definitions of Islam and Pillar), so Imaan (please recall the definition of Imaan in all of its three necessary components) also has six pillars, taught to us by the Prophet (sas). These pillars are:

Belief in Allah;

Belief in the angels;

Belief in the revealed books;

Belief in the commissioned Messengers (peace be upon them).

Belief in the resurrection and the events of Qiyama.

Belief in the predestination by Allah of all things, both the (seemingly) good and the (seemingly) bad.
